Remember the brother Davian Chester who created the doodle celebrating which went viral because Google didn’t? Google just offered him a job. It’s the Information Age. Use both technological advancements and the social media consciously and intentionally. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

decided to take matters into his own hands on June 19th and created his own Google search animation to celebrate Juneteenth. After Google was bombarded with tags and retweets, they decided to offer Davian a job! Congrats 👏🏾

It was so great to attend the Parade in Hamilton Park on Saturday. It's important we take time to reflect on the progress we've made and dedicate to working together as North Texans to ensure everyone has equal access to their version of the American dream.

The first documented anti slavery petition was written in 1688 by four German immigrants, some of the original founders of Germantown in Philly. It’s a miracle this survived over 320 years. I talk about this & Philly’s abolitionist history in honor of in the next ep.

Just bc I attend cookouts and watch fireworks, doesn’t mean I don’t know and/or understand . July 4 to me is a simply a day to enjoy your loved ones and have fun. Attempting to shame ppl for doing that isn’t a good look-at all 👎🏽.
