is the greatest art. It contains all of them. is Hitchcock's love letter to -his internal Snow White. ( was his flawed Rose Red). is also about "Cary Grantness". Hitch knows this. That's why he's "The Master".

"One man's sunset is another man's dawn. I don't know what's out there beyond those hills. But if you ride yonder, head up, eyes steady, heart open, ...I think one day you'll find that you're the hero you've been looking for."

The Shop Around the Corner is one of my favorite films. I almost always watch it once a year, normally around Christmas holidays, but wasn't able to do so last year. Looking forward to my new laptop (maybe this week!) because it is the first movie on the watch list!

THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (1956) Hitchcock made 2 versions. Of the 1934 version - he once said "Let's say the first version is the work of a talented amateur and the second was made by a professional”

My review of on : Shot entirely outdoors except for what I believe is a cave set.  Lean story that had me questioning the characters motivations until their full stories come to light.   crying was very emotional.....
