Please keep in mind that most CPPs go to a to get our meds so this is clearly the reason why the same Doctors prescribe pain meds every month. Long term chronic or deserves relief. Please don’t forget us.

Another huge issue is MN also has statute. But due to state pressure via accusatory ltrs to prescribers, guideline language & Quality Improvement Program, Drs can't even follow statute w/o being flagged, warned to "step in line" or else. Not

I'm weary of the either/or framing of the conversation. It seems like there are always extremes involved. It's either: are TERRIBLE & ineffective for , or . What about patients who use in conjunction with methods? 🧐

I'm currently waiting for my new insurance company to authorize my breakthrough pain medication that I've used for 10 years. Its been 9 days since I dropped off the prescription. The new guidelines totally screw chronic pain patients!

Don’t worry, they are all on the same side- pointing fingers at doctors instead of dealers, and ignoring the dying in pain because access to medication has been cut.

Addiction specialists should not be opining about the appropriateness of use of opioids for the treatment of . SUD and are entirely different medical conditions. It is like going to an OB to be treated for a cardiac condition.

Incorrect. People with deserve to contribute to this conversation. We have to LIVE with these loony, harmful decisions. That means WE GET TO WEIGH IN. Period.

Will there be discussion on the patients, including being denied medically necessary medication? The crisis? The CDC Director clarifying guidelines due to wide spread & needless suffering?

I definitely have PTSD from done awful treatment I’ve experienced. Very abusive. But if I want my meds so I can get just a tad of relief from my then I have to put up with it. I recently relocated but am terrified to find new doctors. I finally have rapport.

Dr stated, due to "state pressure", adopted hard limit of 80 MME & "can't" adhere 2 exemption. clinic has hard limit of 45 MME & "won't" adhere. PCP has own policies & "can't". Dr's can't even follow statute.

Canes or wheelchairs aren't the measure of severe . Best to leave this between doctors & patients. That's where the best outcomes happen. Careful, compassionate medical care. 😉
