One of my proudest career moments happened at recess today when I overheard one of my students say to a child who was sitting by himself crying in the field: “I see you. I hear you. You matter!” My heart!!!♥️

I love people, even when they don’t love me back because I know what love is. Not everyone does. But I don’t let that change my heart. ♥️

The sights and sounds of nature can help us to relax, gain new perspective and pull us in to the present moment. When we try to use all of our senses, we become more engrossed in the present moment. Here are some birds chirping.

Some people get better over time while others get bitter over time. I always strive to be better. I can’t understand why everyone can’t seem to do this.

I appreciate things that shine, especially people. Don’t make the mistake of leaving people uncertain of how you feel. If they matter, tell them! As I was walking my class out after school a student turned to me & said, “Ms. K you matter.” It meant everything.

There is beauty all around us and within us. If you seek the beauty, you will find it. Strive to find the beauty in others and to connect with that part of them which will amplify it for all!
