My mom managed the musical group in which my sisters & I performed, booked the musicians & the gigs, ran rehearsals, took care of publicity while teaching private vocal lessons & raising 5 kids. In the 1960s! She was remarkable, a feminist before we knew the word.

On , some ways to support women in chem: 1. HIRE WOMEN—especially women of color. 2. Remove time constraints on postdocs. Allow ppl w/ a non-traditional path get back into the pipeline. 3. Provide access to paid family leave (including grad students & postdocs). (1/n)
