is testing a 3D printed Antenna Integrated Helix Feed. It is a part of a transmitter system & is used to amplify RF signals. It is made of AlSi10Mg alloy. Typically, manufacturing a helical structure creates a lot of material waste, this is why 3D printing is preferred.

Dr Sivan, chief said the Indian space agency will take up inter-planetary missions and that he expects pvt player’s to contribute. He also hinted abt missions to OUTER planets( i.e. Pluto, Uranus & Neptune). This is a very-very AMBITIOUS project. 👍 All the best to ISRO.
