My mom died from cancer and I remember that hearing CANCER for the first time made me nauseated. Since then, I pray especially for those who have to hear this for the first time. I invite you to pray with me for those who today receive the devastating news.

Today I pray that I forgive others the way that I have been forgiven by God. Too often grudges are held and relationships are ruined. Willingness to forgive is the key!

The most hope-giving verse of the Qur'ān “O My servants who have wronged their own souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins“ [39:53] The aim of the Qur'ān is not to simply condemn but to offer a chance to change and redeem yourself

Every day you have a choice to make. You can be light or you can be darkness. Choose light. Spread hope.

Today I pray that I remember; contentment is what I’ve been searching for, happy with where I am, and happy with who I am.

The question that I get asked on a regular basis is "Why do I do what I do".... One of the reasons is that I'm very passionate about helping young people get into work. We cannot ignore the fact that Eastbourne has a high percentage of young people out of work.

Today I pray that I keep my head exactly where my feet are, right here, right now! Too often it goes to the past, or jumps forward into the future, it’s got no business being in either!
