A Tory MP reminds me that it was in Swindon in 2015 that his party launched a manifesto that pledged to hold a referendum to settle the Europe issue once and for all. “I think we have settled Swindon once and for all”, he says. “Not much else”.

Thatcher persuaded the Japanese to manufacture in the UK by promising them the single market across EU. Now we've reneged on that promise. Is it any wonder they're leaving and refusing to give us the same deal they've areed with the EU?

Thatcher managed to attract Honda, Nissan and Toyota to the UK with it being at the heart of the European single market. The no deal zealots of the ERG are trashing the economy.

Announcement of Swindon factory closure is a shocking blow to the Government's delusional belief that Brexit won't destroy British industries & won't cause thousands of job losses Ministers need to wake up to the truth now, there is no Brexit dividend only

5) Max is ready but the engine is not. Worst reliability on the grid every year. While closing the gap is expected, the overall deficit of pace + reliability is too big of a overhaul to overcome in one winter. It will be a learning year for .
