1876 Myles Keogh from Leighlinbridge, Carlow died at the Battle of Little Bighorn in Montana. This was General Custer's doomed Last Stand against Sioux&Cheyenne warriors. Keogh was the most senior Captain present. Over 30 other Irishmen died there too
