It seems as of v2 does not have an easy way to reference values in sub-charts from parents, which complicates chart modularization, hoping v3 will provide an elegant solution

from ep. #11 that helm will replace Tiller with CRD in v3, and may add support for distributed chart repositories. The podcast is very informative, and looking forward to get some stickers in the next KubeCon China😃
