I was prepared to fight my pharmacy to the death over their switching my prescription to a generic form that doesn’t work for me. Instead, I got a “yes, ma’am, we’ll take care of that right away. Here’s how we can avoid that from now on” which was nice.

I got my 3rd piece for published today! The first draft of this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever written. [image description: a 20-something male leaning his head in his hand]

Sometimes Hashimotos can be like a bad cocktail party. Instead of drinks, you get a sample of different health problems you didn’t ask for. Here’s some IBS, mood issues, weight issues, and because it’s a real prankster let’s throw in some surprise brain dysfunction.

I used to have moderately thick hair. But as time has passed ( with is a very real thing), my hair is now so thin it can be held up with a single bobby pin. This discourages me but I am trying my best to not let it get to me. My hair doesn't define me.
