All in favour of improved broadband but it cannot deliver freight! HS2 releases capacity for more freight trains to help tackle Climate Change. Many trains like this run daily all over the country & would need 20-30 lorries each to do the same job.

Funny how there's no specious argument here about embedded carbon of constructing HS1, Chunnel, LGVs Nord+Méditerranée, Montpellier Bypass and Perpignan-Figueres tunnel over past 30yrs, which wld make such a service (maybe) possible 🤔
