Years ago we bought a Bible from 1849 on eBay. It belonged orig. to a Betsey Stone of New Sharon, ME. We went on a trip to Maine to find her grave, and briefly reunited Betsey and her Bible.

Saddest markers I have ever found, from 1932, 1951 and 1970. Maybe they had no money/family, or maybe these were supposed to be replaced at some point. Post Mills, VT

Found the exact same marker in New Sharon, Maine, and Hanover, NH. That's almost 200 miles apart! They must have ordered these from a catalogue in the 1920s.
