No hail but elsewhere, yes, in the Graves especially. From Martillac down to Langon. Saint-Morillon below. Reports are the damage isn’t *too* bad. These vines though are 10kms from us at St Germain du Puch. I’ll check here then look. (Credits below.)

Often anxious in August after hot weather. Lost half the crop in a 10-minute hailstorm in Aug 2013. It’s been bone dry and hot for weeks and weeks. Will we get just some much needed rain or will it be the dreaded G-word? . Image via
