is still being held in check, purportedly by a Bank that finds itself holding a largish short which they still hope to cash in. Gold Working 'W' Bottom on Big Cup Handle. Bullish Flag. 1290 and 1282 are important levels to watch. 200 dma @ 1260 ... oh well !

We have every reason to expect that this breakout in is for real. Gold & are rising for the same reason. Wealth is de-risking. Money is moving out of assets with counterparty risk. Silver breakout to follow soon.

critical juncture with breakout possible in either direction. A break below the new support will be bearish (failed breakout) & likely point to lower prices. A move back up to 1304 will confirm the breakout & forge a new trend. May also ride support until it breaks up/down.

Although I’m still bearish longer term, I covered all my shorts. I have a feeling this move gets retraced significantly. My daily oscillator just doesn’t agree. Here are just a few instances where this has occurred in the past.

Nothing has changed, and nothing will change until we break through the $1350-$1400 region, or $1210-$1220 support fails.

The bullish descending wedge has broken out, and is currently undergoing a hard backtest. As long as we close the week above the line I think we can safely say a new cycle has begun and we have another shot at the magic $1360-$1400 region

I am shocked our Central Bank doesn't have decent reserves 😓 If we had been conscientious in supplying with we could brokered very good deals.

Last Tuesday May 14, Hedge Funds were 52.5 Net Longs, a relatively small number. They probably added more longs last Wednesday before the Bullion Banks smashed the price Thursday and Friday. I'm still expecting a test of the 200 dma at 1260 or lower before a real reversal.

$gc1 update - still holding that first position but there is no follow through yet and possibility of a wedge adjusting the stop at the upper ml and increasing the pos with new lows otherwise patience with a plan
