It’s ridiculous that concerned Scots wanting to know what was happening last night had to wait for news channels in London to notice & start reporting because Scotland has no dedicated, 24/7 news channel.

Another fire near in March this year had already seen part of Sauchihall St closed off since. Businesses unable to re-open. Now we have more major disruption in one of Glasgow's most bustling, famous areas. You have to wonder about the mounting costs here.

THREAD on . I visited the site with last night, who have done an incredible job to contain a fire that was totally out of control on their arrival and also collapsed the timber clad roof of the neighbouring ABC venue, which dates back to 1875.
