Out of hospital and on the mend!! Sleep apnea caused by scar tissue in my throat. Ignored for too long...oxygen went so low in my sleep I suffered a near cardiac arrest. 41...fit! Terrifying...but on the mend and now off to boot camp to build my strength...guys...

Hands up if you’ve had your hearing checked in the last 12 months. No? You would’ve gone to the optician if your sight was blurry but hearing deficit can just be lack of clarity

My GP referred me for an urgent colonoscopy. I thought it was to check on my use of punctuation. So you’ll understand I got quite a shock. Huge thanks to Dr Jon Fawkes and nurses Julie, Jennifer, Marian & Andrew at UCLH. All is well. &Upwards

Special Announcement! Just had confirmation from the specialist that my recent (minor) surgery was a success. BUT, my friends, it pays to get things checked early because they found a type of pre-cancer. Now safely gone. Wouldn’t want to do chemo ever again.
