Ooo something is digging a big hole under my fence at night! Time for a new trail cam, the old one isn't working. Anyone any ideas what it could be? 🦊?

Just spotted a large white, tortoiseshell, red admiral and peacock in the garden! I haven’t seen a red admiral for years, so my sprawling, unkempt buddleia has done a very special job πŸ¦‹

This lovely comma has been a regular garden visitor over the past couple of weeks. It even let me get quite close to it with the camera today.

This young blackbird was just sitting close by and he was singing quietly to himself. I assume he is learning his song and practising it? It was lovely to hear the song sung so softly. He tried out a couple of other calls too.

....think this is a common red soldier beetle (rhagonycha fulva) on one of our foxgloves earlier today πŸ‘‡

A new one for our garden this year. A wall brown butterfly has just settled on the wall of the house, living up to its namesake!
