There’s a lovely patch of growing in the tiny of our Lakeland cottage. Along with hollyhocks this is a plant I need more of in my own garden. Think this one is Nigrum? πŸ’š

OK folks, what is this fern growing in a wall and, if I wanted to introduce it to my wall, will it take easily? Thank you, friends!

Evening all on . New out this weekend were these Inula Hookeri. They've really established well since we planted them 3 years ago

I'm looking forward to going on holiday in a few weeks but not looking forward to coming back to parched garden etc.

I’ve been on holiday pretty much since the last , so I’ve done nothing, and also came home to a pretty sorry looking garden through lack of water. I will do my best to bring it back this week, but I’m really noticing gaps where I have limited colour that I need to fix

Evening all, running a bit late. A day away from the garden yesterday means I feel behind with stuff already. Been deadheading, and now I've remembered I need to go vibrate by tomato plants!

I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me the name of the tree with the pink flowers that I spotted recently whilst on holiday. Far less unusual - and something that does thrive in my garden at home! - beautiful !

I had a bit of a heart stopping moment the other day when I almost sliced through a newt with my trowel. The newt seemed pretty laid back about the near miss. I was a gibbering wreck
