A herby corner of my well stuffed garden. Purple chives, golden feverfew, silver thyme, white allysum, and limanthes (poached egg flower) under a welegia bush. All these plants have come through the winter and flourished without any attention.

I'm not entirely sure why this keeps happening and I miss ..its been a few weeks in a row! Only 7mins late this week though so will catch up. Tomatoes starting to take over and eating copious amounts of lettuce. Hope everyone is grand.

Evolution of the Eye. I built it last July, it has bulked out nicely. Quite nicely surrounded now sat at the little table.

Who doesn’t love an Aquilegia? These are a new addition to my garden. ‘Mrs Scott-Elliot’ hybrids. I do hope they will cross pollinate.

I didn’t have much I could do over the weekend in the garden except a bit of tidying, so I added some new houseplants instead!

Who thinks gardens becoming too much an exercise in cleverness using lots of resources and not much to do with gardening & horticulture. Also, takes years of experience to do show garden but Duchess of Cambridge has 'designed' one with no experience. 🤨

My 5yo two years ago wanted to plant a ‘blue poppy’, as a little memorial. He sowed many many seeds, and two survived and have been carefully looked after. Today one has flowered for the first time. He said “wow that’s amazing” when he saw it. All the feels.
