this year had a drink available as part of the conference (mocktail!) that I could drink. First time in my life I got to participate in the "hold a cold caloric beverage during the poster session" and I have to say, I get it now - it helped so much. But make options.

Now I keep telling them this at every opportunity in the hopes that this will become a constant in GSA poster sessions... I even broke my "no disposable cups" rule for it, which, well, I break approximately 1-2x per year, so you know it was good... Mocktails are the best
