Make Votes Matter #MVM Feb 23
A "2 party system" arises when people who vote for 3rd, 4th or 5th parties are denied *any* democratic representation. When dissent counts for nothing - as in - it forces millions to back the lesser evil next time, perpetuating our polarized & unrepresentative politics.

Rest in Peace Lord Paddy Ashdown - a man's politics who really spurred a generation a people to make there difference. The Liberal Democrats probably wouldn't have tasted Government, if it wasn't for his efforts. on Results night will also never be forgotten!

Do you believe all votes should be equal or do you believe some votes should be more equal than others? Some votes were worth 20x more than others in , and some votes were worth 168x than others in . To end we need Proportional Representation.

In the , campaigned heavily in Lib Dem seats they didn't have a chance of winning, handing the Tories a majority on a platter. Now they have the cheek to complain that will split the anti-tory vote.

Corbyn has lost 17MPs since and not one, I believe, in a by-election. That's almost one a month. By 2022 Labour could be below Ed Miliband's tally for if it carries on at this rate. Incredible.

Crazy to think was 4 years ago! How things have changed since. Proud to have played a part in such a brilliant campaign with so many others. I will never forget hearing that exit poll on the radio as I got home from campaigning in Abingdon. A great night! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Remember when McDonnell and Corbyn gave an interview to Murdoch-linked Vice magazine in run-up to threatening to bring down a Labour govt if they won that election? And there were no calls for their deselection. All the Corbynistas have conveniently forgotten that.
