Sad so much hate for Rahul. He won. Get over it. I think the final was disappointing full stop - the challenges were crap and none of them did good final pieces so it was a total anti climax but hey let’s be adults about the winner. Well done Rahul.

My only comment on (its the only episode I watched) is that Rahul constantly looks like he's appalled by the scent of his own farts.

Tough choice. Stay in and watch or pop along to Weaverham Library on a wet Tuesday night to listen to me rabbiting about my books. I'm grateful to everybody who chose the latter. (Clearly, I had no idea this photo was being taken) Thanks

Still not over the - it was, while tense to watch, rather crap and didn’t show the bakers in their best light 😔 I thought all 3 showstoppers were a bit of a let down and don’t even start me on that Technical challenge 🤦‍♂️

Day TWO of people complaining to me here about giving away the ending of - TWO DAYS. And ONE DAY after saturated media coverage. Mind boggles on how these people exist and function.

I think Rahul probably did just edge it but nobody was able to shine as the design of the challenges stopped any of them producing something that looked good. It ended up being the best of an unappealing set of challenges.

Gonna be totally honest, if Rahul had been on TV when I was younger, maybe I would have felt less shit about being a brown kid. It's easy to become jaded and cynical about the importance of representation, but it really can be something special.

Ooh, also, anyone else watching last night feel that Rahul's greatest achievement was in fact supporting his parents' visit visa applications without receiving a standard (dreadful) Home Office refusal?!
