Last year, Dublin spent €3.6m on coaching, of which Croke Park gave them €1.2m. Meanwhile, Tyrone has just four full-time football coaches for the whole county. One from earlier this summer

I know I'm supposed to tear the knees from my trousers in grovelling and find bigger and better analogies to proclaim Dublin's greatness. But I love this sport and it's dying. History might judge me better than abuse I'll get for telling the truth, but here is the truth...

Why is nobody talking about the fact that Eoin Murchan took his last play of the ball outside the top of the ‘D’ before shooting for goal on the 13M line? Over 20M covered in 4 steps?? 🤔

Just the 9 seconds for Dublin to rattle the back of the net at the start of second-half - will Eoin Murchan’s wondergoal get replayed as much as Seamus Darby’s in the years to come?

Enquired about family membership in local , was told it would only cover my sons (don't have any). Women join the club or the club. So my daughter can wear the jersey, play on their pitch, but never be a member of the club. Sounds familiar 🤔

Ah, I remember it well. A time when volunteers were lazy, fat and unreliable. This new decade has coincided with lots of financial investment. However, that finance is an aside and nothing to do with the success.

Stat for piece I'm doing. Presuming Cork one of 19 Tier-One counties in 2019, these are the 2018 championship numbers. Average winning margin of T1 v T2 was 8.04 ppg. Average winning margin of Dublin v T1 was 10.5. First calls for nuclear option. Second is as you were.

Told by a source I've underestimated Croke Park's protection of Dublin. Claims I don't get level of this. "You see big numbers, sure, but this goes as far as taking care of their phone bills and everything in between." This is what the rest fund with their volunteering?
