A stand out stat (and there were many) in an excellent documentary. Watched it with one of the 3 teens but soon began to see it more like a horror show for their generation. So important to have the facts to inform the push for change.

I was inspired by the bravery of the Latin America movement and the youth there like and who risk so much in dangerous circumstances to break the rules for what is right. If they can do it, I can too! Mandando amor a Colombia 🇨🇴!

😰Really sad: „Since 2000, non-renewable generation capacity has expanded by about 115 GW per year, with no discernible trend upwards or downwards“. If humanity would be serious about this number would need to go down!

By looking in our times the question is OLD SCHOOL against NEW SCHOOL e.g. the 2 candidates in Israel or Ucraine Trump or Obama/Sanders/Warren etc. The CEO of VW or others FfF or the consumists etc.

Summary of my presentation at International Climate Change Education Symposium: 1) The UN can’t save us. 2) Climate Scientists can’t save us. 3) The youth might save us but need our help (& is it really fair for us to ask this of them?)

Talk of rave and house and techno must sound like old age pensioners muttering about the good old days to the average activist - I wonder what likes listening to?
