My latest project escalated hard. After more than a week of modelling of an air pistol backstop I noticed that my printer would need ten days to print it all in one. I had to slice it in components. Fingers crossed that all will fit together in the end.

all 3D models exported from to ready for use now -- had to make some changes to the models, as various parts (i.e. different materials) can not overlap -- and add some new VRML materials (transparent glass, black glass with getter, VFD segments) to the StepUp code

Finished the edge protector for my drawer. Decided to make it bicolor. So, the protection is for the drawer itself cause the wood is very soft and I made alread a lot of scratches into it. The parts just slide on it, no glue or so involved.

is so amazing good and absolutely free CAD software. Within only 15min i could create a measurement tool for my Stepcraft CNC Router. It's useful to create STL files for 3d printing but also to create accurate DXF or SVG drawing for CNC milling.

I holed myself in a wonderfully cool room atm. It's giving me a chance to make some plate markers and a frame for the servos. Eventually I'll get around to designing a stand for it all.

We're testing seriously. After structure of our hybrid workboat, elCAT-0, in FC, we have done it in . Doing it in F360 is faster and 'more comfortable', but possible in both packages:

Looking for another use for your workstation / desktop? How about an all-in-one libre software CAD system for 3D printing? Using and to drive a i3 compatible open 3D printer means no lock in, no spying, & reduced design theft concerns!
