If everyone could keep “J” in their thoughts I’d appreciate it. Another custody hearing tomorrow. I want the court to do what is right FOR “J”. No matter the decision, it will be an emotional and difficult day. These days are never easy...

Our new t-shirts are in!! And what do they say? "Heard" because foster youth aging out consistently say they feel like they don't have a voice. Finally Family Home is listening.

It took me 16 years for me to realize and understand I was abused. For 16 years I thought being abused and being treated as less than was normal and what I deserved.

Absolutely blown away by the reaction to my Harry Potter chapter! I ❤️❤️❤️ that it's touching so many ppl. Foster kids are so rare in literature & Harry is a hero they can personally relate to. That's an insanely powerful thing! REPRESENTATION MATTERS!

Watching hurts a little. It reminds me of my favorite John Green bk but also of the childhood I was’nt allowed & briefly glimpsed in college. As you get older, you start to understand what it is you lost & the indifference of the world to your loss.
