My colleague says Punjab worse hit by floods thn we realize. Her uncle in Ropar grabbing buffalos swept away by currents. Struggling to keep them alive even as his own home n animals watery. He's too old to look after them long term, worried abt post flood returns.

A farmer in Rukadi (Tel Hatkanangale, Dist Kolhapur) found three water pumps each having capacity of 20 hp carried by the flood waters. He has appealed to locals of identifying and taking it back!
