Before beginning, I have to run some errands. Then I have that party. Oh, almost forgot church and Jon’s baseball game afterwards. Then pay some bills. Maybe next weekend.

“The walls, protect the castle”, Mo screamed, Danny dived headfirst to escape the oncoming invasion, “It’s useless, there’s too many of them”. The doggy paws careered into the sandy structure.

Ellen stumbled from the office and took the stairs two at a time. As she ran through the lobby she caught a glimpse of herself leaving through the main doors. She stopped and clutched her head as a security guard took her elbow. “Come with me. Now. It’s about yesterday.”

Friends... taking a few days away as I prepare to move. Had a stressful couple of days, and there's likely a few more ahead. I won't have much time for writing and tweeting over the next week, so will be on a tiny break, unless anyone wants to fill in.

Her social media was flooded with happy messages for mums. A harsh reminder of what she’d never had, what she’d never be. Watching, waving, her mother had let her drown.

A thousand times in the chair. She'd convulsed with the electricity, frothing at the mouth, spitting vile words past a rigid jaw. At the thousand and first she smiled. They'd stolen all her yesterdays.
