A4: 20+ years of research shows is just as effective & has fewer side effects that hysterectomy or other surgical options. UFE can safely be performed again if the return and become symptomatic.

I don’t always get an MRI after uterine fibroid embolization (). But when I do, I prefer to see dead . This got relief from her symptoms w/ a minimally-invasive procedure offered by interventional radiology ().
