So...I politely ask a driver not to park on double yellows. He gets in his van, answers his phone & pulls away chatting on it. He is then shocked I deal with that offence because 'surely that is allowed'? Vehicle checked, MOT also expired!! TOR issued

Just overheard someone saying that driving driving is acceptable if you can't get a taxi, and that taxis are so hard to get hold of no wonder people drink drive. Sorry to disappoint, but no, drink driving is never acceptable. Seriously, wtf is wrong with people?

8 SCs from various stations in the north ran an operation targeting drink driving around last night. We'll assume it's a good thing that despite a lot of cars stopped there were no arrests and our regular colleagues only made 2 #96364

In the space of an hour, we issued two TORs for no seatbelts today. The 2-3 seconds it takes up to put it on can potentially save your life. Would you say your life is worth an extra 2-3 seconds before you set off?

A unit with you today. We are out and about supporting the speed campaign today across the regions motorways. Disappointingly a large number of drivers will be processed for speeds well in excess of the limit🚔NM
