A hardcore career indeed, one that people should not need to take on thousands of pounds of debt to enter into and should then not be paid their true value.

14K registered on Emergency Covid register (like me) not able to work clinically for second peak. NHS England in August report 38k nurses short so we are 38k nurses fewer - and a third of nurses are considering leaving the profession. We need action not spin.

‘Emerging’ crisis feels we have time on our side -sadly not. Long term workforce planning & investment across career grades needed now; pay will help front-load recruitment & stabilise retention

Please take a look at my video, its nothing fancy just an honest account of why we are campaigning for as a single parent i just want to be able to support my family by working full time and not have to put in additional hours, reducing family time.

I hope someone asked you about giving NHS staff a pay rise. If not, I am now. We need a morale boost for the second wave. Claps, although I appreciate them from the public, are meaningless from politicians if they aren't willing to follow up with real action.

Support ! Every nurse I work alongside is a highly-trained professional, who could earn more in another sector. But they are nurses because it is more than a job to them. They are my friends & colleagues, but most importantly they are advocates for their patients.
