The International Space Station will pass overhead shortly from 8:37p-8:43p. While there is some cloud cover it should be thin enough & spotty enough to catch the sight as it passes 250miles overhead at more than 17000 mph!

Looks a lot like yesterday's map... Sea breeze showers are expected inland again this afternoon. Thunderstorms will likely be more numerous than Monday because there's a bit more humidity in the atmosphere.

The radar is rather quiet across the Tampa Bay/Sarasota area and northward through the Nature coast this mid-afternoon. However, we do not expect this scenario to continue. The pattern suggests storms will start to fire along the I-75 corridor and push westward after 4-5PM.

On the heels of Barry the tropical Atlantic is pretty quiet. The Caribbean is one of the prime development regions this time of year & for the next week wind shear is going to be high there which will inhibit development for the time being.
