Units on scene of a town house fire in the 4100 block of Brookgreen Drive Fair Lakes. Fire in 3rd floor laundry room. Fire under control. Crews checking for fire extension.

UPDATE: apartment fire 1/16/19 in 9700 block Kings Crown Ct. No occupants home at time. 4 occupants were displaced. No civilian or firefighter injuries. Fire started on exterior balcony and accidental in nature. Exact cause pending further investigation. Damages $25K.

Now that’s a donut! The crew at Station 38, West Centreville, C-Shift gave Firefighter Rob Hunt a colossal surprise. A yummy giant surprise! The donuts were to congratulate Firefighter Hunt completing Phase II of his paramedic internship.

Units on scene of jack-knifed tractor trailer I-495 NB at Georgetown Pike in McLean. No injuries. Small fuel leak quickly contained by firefighters. Left three lanes of I-495 NB are blocked due to crash. also are on scene.

Units on scene of house fire in 2700 block of Wrexham Court, Reston. First arriving reports 2-story, single family home with smoke showing from the roof line of an attached garage. All occupants reported safely out.
