Crews assigned to Station 19, Lorton, are getting ready for a big move! Personnel will soon be moving to a temporary building next door. Current station will be torn down to make room for a brand new one! New Station 19 expected to be completed spring of 2020.

Units on scene of car crash with injury on Fairfax County Parkway at Reservation Drive in Springfield area. Total of two patients transported to area hospital. North Bound and South Bound Fairfax County Parkway shut down between Lee Chapel Road and Huntsman Blvd.

UPDATE 11800 block of Freedom Drive in Reston area: crews continuing to work on smoke removal. Fire was on 2nd floor of high-rise apartment building. There are no reported civilian or firefighter injuries.

Units on scene of a kitchen fire in the 11800 block of Freedom Drive in Reston area. 2nd alarm was requested. Fire is out. contained to apartment. Crews working on smoke removal.

Last night around 9:11 pm, Engine 418, Jefferson, B-Shift fought this car fire on I-495 North prior to I-66. BC404 and Medic 430, Merrifield, were also on scene. There were no injuries.
