Officers have now arrested over 500 protestors. The investigations will continue and 10 have already been charged. Local officers are engaging with members of the community and businesses to evidence the impact to support prosecutions.

I think this country does already take it seriously. Since 2010 the UK has had by far the best record at reducing CO2 emissions and adopting renewables of any major economy If you want to demonstrate, it should be to demand other countries follow our lead

I walked by this many times the last few days. It was a really calm and quite musical protest. I spoke to a few of the protestors who welcomed discussion. Yet the scenes I have seen in the press are showing it as chaos.. just shows.....
