On Tuesday more than 8,000 council workers, most of whom have never been on a picket line, will take part in two-day action. Female council workers from across Glasgow are striking over a decades-long pay discrimination.

Your clearly clueless about how the women feel. There going on strike ,you think that's an easy descion. There gathering and marching for what's there's. They are the ones doing the leading not the union.

M8 the women i know dont give a monkeys about the tribal politics. They want paid pure and simple. The bottleneck are the officials who can't stomach the idea that they got it wrong . There is no good will left now .

Women are not putting up with sexism at work any longer according to this survey. This shows the power of pay reporting for women. We welcome that soon businesses will also report on their ethnicity pay gaps.
