Yakubu Gowon is not only a genocidist, he is dirty & corrupt. He ran away to the UK in 1975, with monies in the Central Bank Of Nigeria. The UK Parliament have unanimously agreed to sanction the Nigerian Government, & the Army officials who ATTACKED  peaceful protesters.

CNN aren’t just now showing the news on CNN International, they are loading it to their American audience too. That basically means they consider it prime content and/or are hell-bent on making a point.

Basil Ejiagwu died exactly 1 week before his case at the Lagos Judicial panel. He was arrested by SARS, tortured for 5 days, legs damaged by a hammer. He had gashes on his head and later developed brain tumor. This is why needs to end today not tomorrow.

The UK’s intervention on today was quite thorough. It even touched on “the proposed censorship of social media”. It also made clear whatever sanctions result from the debate will be directed at individuals and will in no way, “directly or indirectly” affect Nigerians.

UK Parliament has spent time debating police brutality in Nigeria, but Nigerian parliament hasn’t spent a single day doing it! Overall, while we love these efforts let’s not forget that d most potent sanction against d regime comes from boots on the ground
