Please put some respect on this man's name. He brought two titles to this city and took down the Patriots both times to do it. The benching is one thing, but every post doesn't have to be the Eli Manning face either. Eli deserves better than that.

When people want to discredit Eli Manning's Super Bowls, they say it was a team victory. When they say he has a .500 record, somehow that's on him alone. You can't have it both ways.

If was on twitter or insta or snap.. OR, if ELI EVER came off as anything other than the nicest guy in the room, ya think all these “players, ex players, talking heads” would take as many shots as they are? It seems to me.. they all feel pretty safe as they blast away

How bout starting to give this man the respect he deserves? holds all of the Giants' career passing records, including attempts (8,061, 6th in 100yr NFL history), completions (4,860, 6th), passing yds (56,537, 7th) and TD passes (362, 8th). (Re: dot com)

And this is the definition of grace: “I’m just figuring out how to run a scout team.” Love the Mannings. Especially this one.

This........is really all that should matter. A true professional - and one that always showed class, even in the toughest of times. As a long-time Giants fan, couldn't ask for a better person to lead the team for the past 15 years - thanks for the great memories.

My heart is heavy today. Tom Coughlin said it best, ”It’s not your fault.” He was the definition of a class act. Although I will root for DJ, I will miss him playing in a Big Blue uniform. No more scapegoats. Let's build this TEAM to win.

The era is over in NY, and now the question of is he a hall of famer has begun. Never missed a game due to injury EVER. Top Ten all time passing yards and touchdowns. Oh and he beat Tom Brady TWICE in the SB to win SBMVPS, and one of those NE teams was UNDEFEATED.

For me, being an fan and follower was never just about football. It was about the Eli the son, dad and husband. Players get old, class never does. If this is the end for #10, you've given him and his fans, the best tribute. Thank you for writing this.

You can't tell the story of the NFL since 2000 without mentioning Eli Manning. Top 10 all time in passing yards and passing TDs. He is 100% a Hall of Fame player.
