Sooo, wifey cooked the famous Egyptian Messa’aa. It was amazing. I think I ate a lil too extra super much. No gym or workout can help this man.

***Another thread about macarona bechamel*** Y'all have probably heard me say that there's evidence that macarona bechamel was an Egyptian adaptation of a Greek dish, pastitsio.

Roz belkhalta, rice with nuts, chicken livers and gizzards. This is when you realise marrying a middle-eastern woman was a good idea. ❤️🇪🇬

Getting a taste of Egypt - this is Koshary, the national dish of the country. Made with rice, macaroni, chickpeas and fried onions and served with spiced tomato sauce and garlic vinegar. Tastes absolutely amazing and the best part is that it is intrinsically vegan!
