LOL yup. And the Americans were insisting that was not a visa in 2009. Also interesting that the European press and politicians didn’t make a peep of objection for the US visa, but the Americans are kicking up a fuss for the EU one. Typical.

The cost will only be ~6-8$ per application, to cover operational fees. Much less than . And no, there are unfortunately much less than 70 million US tourists visiting the EU every year (this is the number of Americans traveling abroad, and they don't all come to Europe!).
