2000 applicants per program seems to be a trend since interviews aren't limited by travel (virtual). Hoarding interviews "just bc" takes away a match ranking opportunity, please don't be that person. The SOAP is going to be more slippery than ever 🧼

advice for interviews: record a "mock interview" of yourself chatting on Zoom. Try to observe any unconscious habits you might do that could be a distraction. Also check the lighting!
