support webchat team are beyond useless and frustrating to deal with but technical support have acknowledged that there is a problem and a fault. I advise everyone to check the itemised section of their monthly bill as surely I am not the only customer being charged!

We should have kept in public ownership, now it's network that by the way citizens paid for the majority of it as the private owners didn't upgrade the network to any degree. Now citizens will pay again and network will be in PRIVATE ownership

the Department of Communications has written to Eir seek clarification that they could roll out the National Broadband Plan for less than €1 billion. Good luck trying to get through to customer service πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

. Idea that retendering National Broadband Plan to suit could delay by years is utter bullshit. Think about PMPA, Goodman, AIB (3x), , etc. Where there's a will there's a way unless brown envelopes are flowing to .

In the past hour, Eir has submitted a plan to Government on how it could rollout the National Broadband Plan for less than €1bn. Under the proposed contract with preferred bidder Granahan McCourt, the tax-payers exposure is capped at just under €3bn.

Attention customers! Just a quick note about fraudulent and suspicious Eir landline activity that everyone needs to watch out for. At the same time most nights, i am being charged 44c for a seven second call that is not being made! You can imagine how quickly this adds up
