This morning alone, 54 Litir Um Thoghchán came through the door from 6 candidates addressed to 9 individual voters at my home. Would love to know the cost of this to the state? Surely one addressed to 'The Householder' would suffice. Waste of money & paper 🤔

Shame on the 59,067 people in Dublin that voted for Frances Fitzgerald. You basically voted to say fuck Maurice McCabe. The electorate in this country is disgraceful.

Quick Poll (1 of 3) ⬇️ Should RTE give every candidate in elections equal time and coverage across all their media platforms and allow all candidates participate together on their public debates? (Feel free to tag/comment/share etc.)

If the likes of , & , people who work tirelessly for the good of the Irish people, don't get elected ahead of , who set out to destroy a Garda & his family. It sure will say an awful lot about the priorities of Irish people.

People are saying, how can they enforce a carbon tax on us when we do not have a choice. We have to drive to work. We cannot refit our homes. What is needed is a green new deal of large scale public investment. Listen to Lynn Boylan below

I have a feeling a big choice is up ahead for Soc Dem activists. Do they gravitate towards a Labour/Greens pact, or more towards an Independents4Change/SF alliance? Or do they proceed alone. An interesting few weeks/months ahead on the political front.

If you, a voter in the South didn’t vote for Sinn Féin because they won’t govern with the DUP, I ask you this: would you want a Govt that denies LGBT+ and abortion rights, that mocks an gaeilge, that prevents victims from accessing justice? Would you? WOULD YOU?

They really need to ask the candidates about the groupings. The public need to know what political grouping their MEP will join and what this means for their influence in EU as well as the policies and voting block of each.

Nothing shows the fractured nature of the Irish left more than the Dublin European elections. 10 left-wing candidates have over 150,000 votes between them which - managed in a unified way - would guarantee 2 MEPs. The narcissism of small differences needs to end.

Will be voting for all Parties today in the . has done nothing ,but create problems, job losses & uncertainty. We’ve spent 3 yrs & billions on a project of misguided patriotism. Won’t vote for people whose aim is to get a redundancy package within 6 months

Found this scene so sad yesterday. What is a party if it can’t scaffold its people whether it’s win or lose. Hard for a candidate not to feel like a commodity.
