The Dept for Transport have sneaked out a written PQ response to me on Friday afternoon saying the number of applications for transport permits is 11,392. While only allocating 984. This will have serious consequences if it's a no deal

Presumably the Swiss haulage agreement will not be much use to any haulage company that failed to obtain an international road haulage permit for travel through the countries that surround Switzerland. (Application deadline passed on 18 Jan.)
