In you can assign an IAM role to an instance even after it's been launched. And you don't even have to restart it. Need to give an instance temporary read access to an bucket? No problem!

: instances are a work unit about 10% lower in price than their counterparts, but DO consider how much processing time you want when choosing your instance. The cheaper option isn't always the most cost-effective!
