Now these scenes have made my heart long for South Africa! A glass of Chenin will have to suffice until we can travel again. It’s almost time to join and everyone else with the gorgeous organic Chenin.

I said I was saving this for a rainy day, and today has been the first rainy day for a while... so how opportune that we’ve decided to and to support the South African wine industry. Fingers crossed we’re back in business again on Friday 1 May!! 🇿🇦❤️

Drinking Cartology tonight makes me think how much South African Chenin has come of age. It is better than Loire Chenin these days, would you have been able to say that 10-15 years ago? When I was doing Diploma it was all oaked and samey. Cheers to

Quite appropriate sundowner drink as the sun kissed this 1964 vineyard goodnight with bright yellow light at dusk - saying sleep tight until your 57th birthday! An awesome privilege being part of this Chenin blanc vineyard’s journey the last 16 years.
