We're living the dream this week, bringing the home, so our is the one we already have - a place supported by funders, visitors & the general public, who help us to protect the Brontë legacy & share our collections with the world. Thank you!

Day 22 of :) We need to build a home for all of our slightly larger items, such as a plane and a helicopter or two. This is an artist's impression of what our new will look like. We think it's rather impressive if we do say so ourselves! 🤩

Day 22: Our dream museum would be one that celebrated exploration in the natural world, that was a perfect mix of museum and historic house, had spectacular views and an amazing garden, oh and had a good cafe! ... wait a minute...

My as a kid was the in Haarlem: I thought it was everything a museum should be, with bones, stones and paintings - all the things that I loved. Nothing can beat a nice 19th century room like this as well, no?

My would be to see the at long last displayed reconstructed in all its glory with engaging, dynamic interpretation, innovative programming, and insight into the personal stories that are captured so wonderfully in some of the material remains.

Catch-up 22: . Forgive the sentimentality but it’s my own . Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be a curator here. I was only able to do a PhD because my grandad left me the money. Here’s my mum & I on her 1st ever visit to me at work ❤️

Day 22 -This is my - Camperdown House in Dundee, built by the family of Admiral Duncan. Dundee has no historic house museum but this unique building sits empty, &in a location where it could do a lot of good in terms of community engagement. Grr. One day...

As much as we all love our little museum, we wouldn't say no to a tad bit more space! In our we'd be able to have our whole (quite extensive) collection on display and not have to make the difficult choice between exhibits - maybe one day! :)

Our memorial to Lewis Carroll in Poets' Corner includes the line, 'Is all our Life, then, but a dream?', taken from one of his most celebrated poems The circular design of the inscription represents the rabbit hole from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

I love all animals (and I think that there is something wrong with people who don’t) but horses and cats are particularly special to me. In China there is a museum with live horses as exhibits, and in Amsterdam I went to a Cat Museum - it was deeply weird!
