Pres. Trump is taking his cruel efforts to repeal to the Supreme Court, but Congress has the chance to stop him and do the right thing for the Dreamers. The House has already passed the American Dream and Promise Act – the Senate must do the same.

The American Dream lives on! Honored to be original co-sponsor of DREAM & PROMISE Act and to vote for this historic bill. DACA, TPS, DED holders are American in every sense of the word other than our antiquated immigration laws. We urge Senate to pass

The House sent an important message today: we must protect Dreamers, TPS holders, & DED beneficiaries from ’s racist, anti-immigrant agenda. The Senate should pass this bill immediately.

The Dream Act has been changed forever. Initially, 9 years ago, only college students would have been able to qualify. Today, I would have a chance to be on a pathway to citizenship. The passed the House of Representatives, and I am very emotional. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Dreamers deserve full protections and a path to citizenship. Majority Leader McConnell and the Senate GOP should not stand in the way.

I’ve spoken with DREAMers and DACA recipients who are living in fear, unsure if they will be allowed to remain in this country that is their home. Let’s make it clear to these Americans that they are welcomed, and they don’t need to live in the shadows. Pass !

Though disappointed my amendments were not incorporated, we must support millions who will be helped by The American Dream and Promise Act. More must be done, but passing in the House of Representatives is historic. 2/2
