Church of St Nicholas, Studland Peninsula, . Circa 1000 years old stands on Bronze Age, Roman & Saxon remains. St Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors and fishermen & in previous centuries the church would have been clearly visible from the sea. Credit Cherry Gilchrist

What an amazing day meeting Matt Baker and the Countryfile team at Lorton Meadows in Weymouth. Lovely bloke, lots of wildlife and the sun was shining for all of it. Dorset will be on the telly on 1st July!

Ran out earlier to take a quick snap of the beautiful lane-side wallpaper before the tractor ran through cutting it all back. It was so pretty, tho needed a cut. However, now it’s strewn across the lane in a right mess. Do they not pick it up after cutting?
