on day 28. 4 sensor restarts. No accuracy issues. Several hypos and hypers stopped. Undoubtedly the best piece of T1D kit I've ever had. Sorry Libre. It's over. It's not you, it's me.

I've ordered a new transmitter and some sensors. Expensive, but! The 3 sensors I've used so far have lasted over 90 days. By my maths that makes Dex cheaper than Libre. I self fund, nobody pays me or gives me anything. Do your own research, of course.

Dexcom G6 in the UK will cost £159 per month for full time user. No fingerprick calibrations, same accuracy as G5, paracetamol doesn't effect readings. Individual sensors and transmitters same cost as G5

Today my friend was excited to inset my sensor "I need to do these things, I need to be able to help you in an emergency like when they inject her in the heart in that film...." I'm sure pulp fiction is a tad different to what I need babe 🤣

First 24 hours wearing new G6 vs. G5 head to head (no fingerstick cal vs. two/day) - EXCELLENT smooth performance with zero cal on day 1, love the new applicator & slimmer transmitter. See video & photos at

Just when I’m having a terrible day, I swap out cgm and infusion site, sleep on it, and have an awesome next day. While I like to push the limits for and it’s also a good reminder on why the recommendation are what they are for duration and site placement.
